I am a Moldovan painter based in the UK, whose work is shaped by the cultural landscapes I have moved through. Drawing on my experiences as an immigrant, my work captures memories formed through moments of cultural encounter and transition. Working primarily with oil and acrylic, my practice explores socio-cultural themes through portraits, landscapes, still life, architecture and cultural symbols.
